As a UGotiator, entering your creditor’s address is quite important. As you move through UGotiate, you will be prompted to send certain letters to each one of your creditors at different stages. As long as you have entered in your creditor addresses, UGotiate will automatically enter in the address on all letters and offers you create! Enter the address in once and you won’t have to think about it again when you don’t have a statement or collection letter handy!
You may notice on your statements and collection letters that there is more than one address and wonder which address you should enter into UGotiate. Because the address will be used primarily for sending your creditors letters and settlement proposals, it is most beneficial to enter in the Customer Service Address rather than the Payment Address.
Benefits to adding your creditor Customer Service Addresses now:
- UGotiate tracks industry standards – such as settlement averages. One way this is tracked is by creditor addresses. The sooner you enter in your creditor addresses in, the sooner you will receive tips and guidance specific to your creditors.
- Letter and forms to creditors will automatically have your creditor’s address on it for your convenience – you will need to send letters to your creditors at different points in time – enter the addresses now and you won’t have to go searching for a statement to find the creditor address each time you need to print a letter
- Send Proposals to the right place! Settlement offers can be time sensitive – make sure you are prepared to strike while the iron is hot.
If you do not have your creditor addresses right now, there is no need to stress! Gather your statements and collection letters as you receive them – come back and enter in the info at a later time that is convenient to you.
