On most credit card statements, you will find at least two addresses. Typically, there is an address specifically for mailing in your payments and then there is another address for Customer Service and Billing Inquires.
When entering in your creditor's address info into UGotiate, it is most beneficial to enter the Customer Service Address. You will use this address primarily to send letters and offer to your creditors – not payments. Even when you do reach a settlement arrangement with a creditor - the address you will mail your settlement payment to is typically different than the payment address on your statement.
You will find that the Payment Address is usually on the payment coupon a the bottom or top of the first page – the portion of your statement that you tear off and put in the envelope to mail your check to your creditor.
The Customer Service and Billing Inquires address is usually it is on page 2 or 3. See the picture examples below to find both the Payment Address and Customer Service Address.
If you don't know the Customer Service Address or can't distinguish between the Payment Address and Customer Service Address, do not worry. Enter into UGotiate what you have for now. You can always update the address later when you have more information.
